This is gonna sound dorky (but I am one). The faint shading that defines his right cheekbone is fantastic. Hell, the shading overall!
That’s ok, we can be dorks together :) Thank you <3, The shading was a little difficult, as I used a pacer, so I appreciate your comment.
Oh no, it’s not random! It’s great to see your original art! I love it particularly his lips ♥
Thank you. I did use a ref. I think he’s a South Korean actor. I just saw the pic and went ‘oohhh pretty, must draw.’ Thank you for the comment PM :)
This is from my sketchbook (ref. used and dorky ps texture added).
I felt like I should share something that’s not digital, though I really don’t feel comfortable posting this. Sorry it’s very random :(

Sam Winchester’s Journal – Entry #6
Tonight, a little girl named Bess should have been in the arms of her mother, playing with her hair and listening to her sing her favorite lullaby while slowly falling asleep. The only thing she will hear instead, will be the sound of her father’s tears and his voice telling her that her mom is never coming back. She’s too young to understand, though. The pain will come later.
We fucked up. I mean, bigger than usual. And god knows that fucking up has become a Winchester trademark over the years. Saving people, hunting things, the family business. My ass. All the people we’ve gotten close to are now six feet under. Ellen, Jo, Bobby, Benny… It would take days to make it through the whole list!
Dean and I have managed the scientific miracle of turning death into a contagious disease. We deserve a Nobel Prize at this point.
Sarah is dead, so are Jenny and Tommy. Abaddon is on the loose. Cas and Metatron are god knows where. Crowley has the upper hand on us.
Dean says he’ll think about a plan, but the only thing he’s done so far was empty a bottle of Jack and throw two glasses against the wall. Not that I’ve been of any great help myself, being too tired and too weak to think about anything.
But I have to focus. I’m too close to the goal to fail now.
Sam Winchester’s Journal – Entry #4
I woke up, my face covered in marker.
Our prank wars aren’t what they used to be 8 years ago, when we went back on the road together to look for Dad. These days, we basically start a new one every time we want to pretend everything is normal and that problems are miles away. It’s a known pattern.
That’s why I hate it when Dean does this. It says a lot about how he feels at the moment. I know that behind the pranks, there’s also more Jack Daniels, sleepless nights and prayers to Cas’.
Here’s what’s gonna happen now.
I’m gonna retaliate. He’s gonna pretend to be upset. I’m gonna say we’re even and that we should stop it here. We’re gonna laugh and have a beer in front of an old movie.
Everything is fine. Everything is normal.
PS: Let’s hope he didn’t use a Sharpie like he did last time. It took me a week and a layer of skin to get rid of all the scribbles he drew on my face.
I’m running a poll for people to pick which image they would be most interested in using for a #LetsDrawSPN collaborative project, where participants reproduce the same Supernatural photo image, but in their own style. :)
Google doesn’t let me add images to the survey page without great difficulty, so please look carefully at the four images included in this post above, and then go vote at the following link:

I will leave this poll open for a week (until May 17th) to collect responses. :)
Miss America Chavez (designed by McKelvie) Personal work, 2013
I drew this with the intention of making this into an ad for drawing classes on an 8.5x11 sheet of paper, but I completely forgot that I needed to leave space for words.
Hello, friends! I’ve printed a compilation of some of my favorite recent drawings into a book called Dairy Free. The book is 6x9 with color and black and white interior. It is a VERY limited run, so get them while they’re here!
The first 10 orders get a mini sketch of my choosing!
Books will ship out in mid-May. I will be bringing some copies to TCAF, so if you are going and want to pick a copy up from me there, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org (It will not include a sketch.) Thanks!
ETA: Sorry about the price not showing up in the site, but the book is $15 (not including shipping.)
ETA2: HI, orders are back for now. Thank you!
